[sldev] Lighter weight client?

At SCALE v6 (Southern California Linux Expo) last weekend I heard from
Liana Linden that somebody is working on a much lighter weight Second
Life client, possibly suitable for the One Laptop Per Child XO
computer. If so, I would like to bring it to the attention of the
development community there, and invite content people to come on
Second Life and see what they might build for the multitude of
children that will get XO laptops in the next few years.

The XO has a 433 MHz AMD Geode LX processor, and no 3D acceleration
hardware. Memory is 256 MB, and there is 1 GB of NAND flash.
