everybody interest...
I voted for it already.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've implemented a crude for of lip sync for SecondLife, a babble loop
modulated by the power returned from voice chat. It's been in beta test
for the last several weeks. Thanks very much to those who tested it.
Since I don't have a file server, one of the testers, evolutie, has
graciously volunteered to host the binaries. See
http://www.creativemachinery.org/lipsync_viewer.html
I have binaries compiled for the 1.18.5(3) stable version and the
1.18.6(77495) WindLight version. This is no longer the current
WindLight version being tested by LL. You can get the earlier version
at
http://firstlook-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/Second_Life_1-18-6-77495_WindLight_Setup.exe
As soon as the source becomes available for the latest release, I will
compile a binary for it.
I hope to get Linden Lab to incorporate this code into the official
viewer. You can help that process by going to
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-4794 and voting for it. You have
to be logged in with your SL name and password to vote.
I continue to work to improve the quality of the lip sync, which at this
point it pretty crude, but it's better than head bobbing, and should be
good enough that you don't have to hide your characters' mouths for
machinima. :-)
Thanks.
Mike
