I'm not in disagreement with any of the points made, I certainly was not
trying to criticize the merits or pace of OGP. My original point about
plug-ins and the original poster's point about "SL 2.0" were what I would
categorize as "viewer refactoring." I was trying to state, and I think
you've confirmed, that a viewer refactoring effort is loosely tied to OGP
and could take place in parallel. My point was that saying SL 2.0 = OGP
does not seem to me to be an accurate statement, OGP is an important part of
SL 2.0, but I'd hope we don't have to wait for it to be done before
addressing any of the other issues, like viewer refactoring.
