[sldev] Problems with the cams matrix!

Hi,
i'm trying to render some primitives on an own rendering engine. i use
the camera classes from lindens source code.
Now the axis seems to be wrong. E.g. objects are standing on the head,
and the gl translations are not going in the correct direction.
So can anybody tell me what i'm doing wrong? Is this a mistake in
initializing the cam? or do i have to modify the modelview matrix before
rendering the prims?
