Ah, yes, I did do that, I just hit send on that email before I'd  
finished typing it *smacks forehead*

What I meant to go on to say was thinking back I'd ended up with the  
other error after trying to fudge my way round that one, so probably  
a red-herring.

I've tracked this problem down to having version 2.6.0 of CMake  
installed rather than 2.4.8. I'll put a note on the Wiki to emphasize  
it must be 2.4.8.
