[sldev] Compiling release svn (r616) - linux-crash-logger link error

Ah... Looks like I need to update my system.  The installed python version
is 2.4.4, and I'm upgrading to 2.5.2 now.

Will report on build status when upgrade is complete.

Interesting idea I just had... Is is possible to make the develop.py script
detect and error when the version of python is too old?
