FWIW, Australia has had metered broadband for years.


Aside from the argument about whether that is good or bad, it hasn't stopped
us using the internet, Secondlife, torrents, p2p, WoW or much else


I can't say I'm happy with what seems to be happening in the US, since it is
justifies what our ISP's have been doing for years, but I am farily
confident that it isn't going to end SL for anyone.
