That may be just a matter of interpretation whether it's outside the 
scope or not... what if one sees 'navigation' as navigation of the user 
interface as a whole. A holistic approach, yes. That sounds better for a 
project with its own JIRA namespace, doesn't it?

Did anyone take a closer look at Blender's UI beyond an initial "Hoooo!" 
and shying away? Fully ingenious, fully customizable, and fully OpenGL. 
Takes a while to learn, but so does SL.
