With reverse http, the normal data requests via the GetEvent CAP should
be plenty fast for "low volume." The server will simply POST each new
event as it gets it to the veiwer's faux-POST/GET server.

Doable, I'm sure, but as Felix points out, opting out of it will cripple
functionality in a given region/sim/grid and opting in, would provide
some loss of privacy.
