Agreed. Plus you only have to look at the way HDCP has been adopted by 
the hardware manufacturers and general public (read: not at all unless 
you buy Sony hardware) to know that nobody wants this crap in their 
hardware.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again, your content has already 
been stolen. Time to innovate and adapt.
