Why do people listen to that lunatic?

He calls us "arrogant coder fucks" then expects us to listen to him. Sorry,
solid engineering practice is not a democracy, and we really have better
things to do than teach Software Engineering 101 to every loudmouth that
comes along.

Patch or GTFO.
