I don't know about building. Scripting MIGHT be an option, but there 
would have to be some way for the viewer and Agent Domain to to talk to 
an asset server about compiling/manipulating the script from inventory.

If LL ever allows non-inventory items to be stored clientside and 
referenced in viewer windows, you could do whatever you wanted and defer 
building/scripting until you finished rez-avatar, but you could do that 
now anyway with an external app or with a suitable edition to the 
current viewer if you wanted to get REALLY fance with low-level GUI 
programming.
