I don't get it. If Linden were to include your criterion and then do
the opposite, then developers would hate them, would stop contributing
code, and someone may sue.
The possibility of getting sued makes it quite unlikely Linden will do
that.
My point is that that some people might be comfortable contributing
because they see it is quite unlikely Linden will do that.
