Sorry, I think your message got lost in some of the other threads.

I'm going to guess that you might not have downloaded the artwork bundle
when you compiled.  Without knowing which version of the source code
you're starting with, I can't give you a direct URL to the right artwork
package, but look for the appropriate "Artwork" package on this page:
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Source_downloads

If you're still having problems, the #opensl channel on irc.efnet.org is
a great place to get real-time help.
