Aha, OK. I thought that the binary is not supplied, because the library
does not work or does not compile.
BTW, can we get a better joystick support? E.g. moving forward and
turning (roll/yaw) at the same time should be possible. I was trying to
use some more advanced hardware with SL (full body tracking) and it is
pretty much pointless until the joystick code is somewhat fixed. Right
now one has to stop moving forward before you can turn, due to the
flawed prioritisation of the controls. This is seriously annoying if one
tries to fly or steer a vehicle using a joystick.
Once this is done, I can add VRPN support
(http://www.cs.unc.edu/Research/vrpn/) to NDOF as well. That would bring
e.g. Wiimote support, various trackers (Polhemus, Ascension), original
SpaceBall and what not, without having to support any of these
explicitly in SL. This library is well known among VR researchers.
The second bug I have noticed in the recent 1.22.x viewers is flickering
of local lights when in FlyCam mode. It doesn't happen when camera is
moved by mouse or the local lights are off, only in FlyCam with local
lights on.

Jan
