[sldev] [Blogs] WEB-1038: too much email notifications

Thanks for the tip - I'm going to comment and link WEB-983.
However I'm not subscribed to any individual post, thread
or discussion. I'm only subscribed to individual users
(about 70 users, both Linden and normal users).
I'm getting a notification even when their articles get
a comment from users I'm not subscribed to. I don't think
this is the expected behaviour.
I'm getting notifications also when they update their
articles, and maybe this is the expected behaviour, BUT -
I think this should be optional:
new blog posts and new comments are supposed to be more
interesting than an update to existing content;
if the existing content is heavily updated, the author
could add a comment. In this scenario, there is no need
to notify users every time the article is updated.
