Hi,
If you look at the Snowglobe 1.3 bug/feature log (
https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SNOW), you'll see that out of 43 records,
9 have patches attached. 9! This is nice but things are not moving much
without your help (see "Snowglobe Process Development" at
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/HTTP_Texture_Development):
- committers: you know who you are :) (it's here
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Snowglobe_Committer_List for the
curious...). Please review patches posted by others, especially
non-committers, and comment back if changes are required. If everything is
cool on a patch, you can commit to trunk (don't wait for my stamp of
approval).
- contributors: please answer to reviews and comments in a timely manner if
you want your patch to make it to 1.3.
- everybody else: if you build Snowglobe, feel free to apply patches on your
machine, test and report in JIRA. All tests help contributors and committers
to expedite the commit to trunk process.
This is an open source communal project folks so your participation is
highly valued and appreciated.
Cheers,
- Merov
