Hey,

maybe you want to have a look at https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SNOW-77. 
I've attached a patch which implements a "HTTPMapURLRequest" capability.
It just implements that single capability, no protocol negotiation or sort of, 
though I think that would be a great idea for future changes.

Note that OpenSim currently has no support for that, so testing it isn't that 
easy. Do we have a nice way of generating the different levels of each tile 
btw?  I wonder if theres already an open bugreport.
