Another thought on my soft/hard limit suggestion: scripts could check  
if the parcel they are in is over the soft limit, and release cached  
information like lists of avatars or information read from  
configuration notecards and go into dormant low-memory mode. Multi- 
script objects could even remove extra scripts. That could even be a  
selling point: "this script is memory safe... if parcel or region  
memory use is high, your Wunderdawg™ will go to sleep using minimum  
memory until it's safe to play again!"
