[sldev] Snowglobe crashing on Mac OS X

[Lawson English]

I downloaded teh 1.1 test build and it crashes within one minute of 
logging on. It triggers the Mac OS X crash reporter but not the SL crash 
reporter,, and doesn't change the SL crash log (assuming I'm looking in 
the right place for it).
