[sldev] Late night thoughts on ways to prevent griefing

some people don't trust LL either, some people don't trust the internet
in general, in my case if I had to send a fax of my documments to LL,
I would probably need to do some sort of complicated path, like taking a
digital photography, then printing, then passing the paper thru the fax
machine on an international call, my fax machine can't handle stiff
things like laminated documents, many people will not have either fax,
or digital camera, things get complicated. And as mentioned earlier,
even back when LL knew who everyone was griefing still took place.
IMO the path to reducing griefing involves better tools for people to
defend themselves and/or avoid griefers, and better instruction on what
is involved etc, a while ago I read some people were falling for
spampire tricks, this thign about adult segregation could in a big part
be resolved by people being taught they can TP away if they see somthign
they don't like, that thing they almost did, but backed away, resident
governance, would also be helpfull, better handling of ARs, both the
valid ones that get ignored and the bogus ones that punish innocent
people. Also things like complete sensorial muting (don't render
anything from the muted av, including the av itself, no particles, no
sounds no physical interactions etc). With better punishment of the
guilty, better protection of the innocent, and better ways for the
innocent to not be botherred by the guilty-to-be things would be much
easier, while using verification, let's say the PResley familly would
grow quite a bit and people in SL would continue to be griefed.
