[sldev] RLV breakage, derivative works, and non-GPL patches

Does anyone check the email at that address? I've had occasion to make
licensing enquiries myself at one time or another, but neither I nor
anyone I know has ever received a response to anything sent to that
email address, whether about a violation, or about any other licensing
matter for which we have been directed to it.
