So if we shake it real hard does it make it prettier?
What sort of art is needed. I can help with that part.
What happened to the big spaceship deal? Speaking of which I saw a screenshot somewhere on the SL blog supposedly of a linden and the avatar looked like a cardboard cutout. I hope it was just a bad video card and not some new version rofl.
And if building a new UI then I would love to see user configurable toolbars so we can customize according to what we are doing at any given time. Sort of like how UIs work in other more "gameish" places.

Subject: [sldev] New viewer name: Snowglobe
Hey all,
So 'Snowglobe' is the new name we picked for the new viewer we've all
been working on. Seemed clever (just think of the Citizen Kane
references), fun, referential to virtual worlds generally, and something
that could be effectively mutated for different projects (what you put
'inside' the snowglobe). We've registered it and gotten some domains
(snowglobeproject.org, etc). Next step for us/LL is to come up with
some art, and flesh out some usage guidelines.
So let's start updating the wiki(s) with the new name, and rebranding
patches also welcome (VWR-13295). Also any initial design ideas or
mockups for art would be great. We're trying to enlist some internal LL
folks for art treatments, but anything you want to throw in the ring is
welcome.
Philip
