Folks, this is not what Lindens asked about. I think you have got on a
(interesting) tangent.

This is what Philip was asking for:

(Gestures in this sense are user's head movement, not SL gestures! E.g.
nodding your head could be interpreted as a mouse click!)

So all this SL gesture triggering and extraction discussion is a bit
off-topic, IMO.

The low hanging fruit is really to get basic tracking in place, because
that is the input required for any gesture triggering or camera control
or whatever. Whether or not this requires server changes is completely
immaterial - there are much larger problems there (e.g. how to capture
video in a cross-platform way, supporting all kinds of webcams!).
