[sldev] [HELP] C++ newbie needs help with first compilation

I just want to throw out here that I find it hilarious that ever since the
so called (I can barely say it..) "Easy build" system, not a single person I
know has been able to build the viewer based on the wiki's instructions.
Myself included. If you ask me it was a lot easier to build the viewer
before you made it easy... if that makes any sense.
