[sldev] An announcement

Soft Linden soft at lindenlab.com

Coco and Which speak truth.

I'll add that Rob pulls from an impressive body of knowledge, finding
these analogs to other projects and companies that few others could
match. While we've stumbled along, learning how to make open source
work to mutual benefit, without Rob we'd have made so many more
mistakes. All around, he's been as much an educator as an advocate for
our open source work.

And yeah, he's great to work with. I actually look forward to what
should be pretty dry patch triage sessions and other goings on,
largely because of his involvement. Even before working at the Lab, I
enjoyed the public open source meetings, largely because of his
patience, warmth and humor. It's so rare to find those traits in
someone otherwise so driven and principled - he's Lindeny to the core.

You're going to be missed, Rob. I doubt I'm the only one jealous of
the next company that gets your time. :/
