There are several instructions on the wiki, which ones did you follow
and how did the build fail? Apart from what's linked on
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Get_source_and_compile there's also
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Michelle2_Zenovka/cmake which tends
to be more up-to-date. I think there were once plans to merge these
pages, but it looks like nobody's done that, yet.
