[opensource-dev] quicktime plugin failing, and lots of build errors (windows)

When starting out most users will set aside quicktime until the viewer builds error free. As you have found out it is not needed to run the viewer.Use configure switch  -DQUICKTIME:BOOL=OFF not build it.

If you desire is to build with quicktime the quicktime SDK from the apple developer site is an additional build dependency.
