Yes, there's a vs2012-xp target in VS2013, but I guess you'd need to
recompile all the pre-built VS2013 libraries as well, so...
It doesn't remove anything about my point: even Windows 7 is well over
3 years old, and I don't see why Linux users should be treated with
less respect and regard for their choice of staying with a 3 years old
distribution installed on their system...

I can't tell anything about MacOS-X, since it's for me quite an alien,
strange world (as everything from Apple)...
