In general, I'm not in favour of overly large downloads - but given the amount of bandwidth just *running* the SL viewer eats up (downloading textures etc.), 15-20Meg does not seem that much. Anyone with an internet connection which has serious problems (either in terms of speed or download limits) downloading an extra 20meg for an updated viewer once or twice a month, is likely to have issues running the viewer in the first place.
