[sldev] Upcoming viewer releases?

I don't think Nicholaz is wrong. Figuring out what's going on with
Linden Lab is like peeking through holes in the box. Those holes are
transparency, but they generally only afford a very tight view, quite
frequently of something you can't understand without the necessary
context - which might not be available.

Assorted projects, studios system and subsystem terms might be used
which aren't documented anywhere, or are used inconsistently. You've got
to squint through a lot of holes to get the necessary background to
figure some things out - which leads to more queries and more wasted
time for Linden staff.

A number of Linden staff have told me they feel the same way about
anything going on outside their immediate environs :) The "black box"
description is one I've heard from no less than five Lindens this year
so far - and they're on the _inside_ ;)

Mind you, Linden Lab trying to get a good picture of what's going on
inside SL is probably much the same problem, I'll grant you that.
