I believe you went around and asked about what would make Lindens
participate more with the open-source community, and some people said "I
need a low-traffic list".  I don't think that those people have started
following this list, no matter how low its traffic got.  :-)  I think
low traffic is a red herring.  Feel free to flame me if I'm wrong, or
misinterpreted how this came about.

I don't disagree that we shouldn't try to be focused when using this
list, but at the same time, maintaining an upper bound on traffic will
make the list less focused, not more.

The way we will get more Lindens to contribute/join, I believe, is if we
make the list contain more relevant content.  I think one early concern
was that the list would be flooded with questions of the form "can't
build on architecture X, pls advise", which Lindens are generally
useless at answering because we have a standard development environment,
but there aren't that many of those right now.  I personally am going to
make a conscious effort and take all mulib and eventlet-related
discussion to this list if possible.
