I don't care id it's cmake, gmake, automake, or what ever, what i care
about is that the stuff that LL compiles actually is possible to
compile. That have not so far been the situation on the windlight branch
and that is bad. The two development worlds are to far from each other.

This leads to stress, frustration's and misunderstandings, and also
Nicholaz put some light on how the talk it totally different. IN a OS
environment one are and frank sometimes harsh when telling once mind about
a matter. It's been like this in most communities with long traditions,
people like Linus and RMS at the front of two of the bigger project. Or
Theo in OpenBSD are not directly know to be "polite" and politically
correct.

On the other side with in most companies communications must be very
careful, your don't say anything that could piss off people. It's a
sure death sentence. Personally i would be really happy if Linden Labs
could open up and embrace a more morten (if the is a good word I'm not
sure) and open development style. Some details are there but LL still
have a long way to go. being out in big companies for the last 12 years
i now understand where LL are, I was confused but the open source
embracment, but it's only haft the truth.

But now it's time to get a patched 18.5.3. viewer out again. More gui
changes that didn't give much possitive.
