Very true.

If anyone hasn't seen the movie "Shooter," I suggest they do. It is
really good movie on the notion it plays out. Metaphorically, one could
compare the movie that open source development. Without any spoilers, it
portrays a bit about politics and the law that is of quite interest. The
end of the movie surely suggested the movie was to be taken more
metaphorically than to suggest or relate to any conspiracy, which would
be only of mere coincidence.

Here... it made me think of SL's T.O.S. where there is virtual land
under such T.O.S. and what goes on "the outside" (mmmm, perhaps in RL.)
It also made me think of the recent blog post also:

And, the weights used to justify changes in and out of LL -- changes
that are "sometimes savage and unsparing" (not just the criticism).

The movie put a typical, commonly found, political game and put it in
plain English.
