With you 100% on this.
Its is a basic, fundamental law of the internet that if you don't want
people to copy it, you DON'T PUT IT ON THE INTERNET. It astounds me that
people can't seem to wrap their brains around the fact that SL is not
exempt from this law. A million bazillion web sites seem to do just
fine, even with all web browsers having a "save as" option. Why should
slviewer be exempt from having "save as" too?
Oh yeah, because of the toy economy. Making a living from selling object
references in a game, is about as solid a business model as making a
living off web advertisements was in the late 90s. Its going to come
crashing down sooner or later. Enjoy it while you can.
I'm sure this post will get me banned from Luskwood again, three months
from now. Remember, all this Open Source stuff is really just a front
for my evil plan to destroy Luskwood.
