Whether it has real value or not is irrelevant. The rules of the game
are that it has value in game terms. Things that have value in game
terms get protected in game terms. Even if they're just high scores.
IN ADDITION, the "toy economy" is what many people are paying LL to
participate in, therefor it, itself, has real value.
