Oh I forgot to mention, its looking like wherever the map compression is
happening, has (had?) switched over to OpenJPEG, with the broken encoder
setup. :)
I noticed this a few days ago, for some reason, encoding with OpenJPEG
tends to result in very distinct red/blue color fringing, like the RGB
channels are not lining up properly. This seems like a bug. And also an
artifact of not enabling the MCT to encode in YUV format, though that
may just be hiding a real bug.
