Just wondering, what OS, compiler and debug tool are you using for your
leak debugging? Windows, right?

I've been toying with running the client (Linux/gcc) under valgrind, and
there appears to still be plenty to clean up. Running under valgrind is
rather painful, its difficult to get connected, and stay on long enough
to get a decent test in without getting dropped off the sim, which
somewhat invalidates the test. (Though it should probably be cleaning
itself up properly anyway)

To get logged in at all, I have to put a platform way up in the sky
where there's NOTHING else, disconnect, start up the client under
valgrind, then I can just barely connect fast enough to not have the
login time out. Usually it takes a couple tries. This is on my wife's
Athlon 64 3000+ laptop (1.8ghz).
