I am not sure if patches are of great value then as they only come untested
and it might be a unpractical process if a Linden tests them for you and
comes back with some error..

So maybe it really would be just handy for understanding the overall
mechanisms of SL better and eventually to come up with optimization ideas
which could be implemented by LL and the OS team together.
