Thanks, but that doesn't help me. I probably forgot to say that I already
have Mac/Win/Linux drivers for my devices. I am working with 3Dconnexion
toys in particular the SpaceNavigator:

What I was looking for is where/how mouse and keyboard control the *Build*
Mode... even just which classes or functions take care of movements and
rotations in Build mode. If I see how things are done for the mouse/keys, I
can probably do something similar for my devices.
