Now, I'm free to travel once more, I can do some more serious testing.

The version I compiled, with patches posted earlier, has several
critical problems. Foremost, it doesn't render textures when above
water. It renders the sky gradient, and property lines, but everything
else is gray -- possibly because it is invisible, or is gray and also
invisible, or visible and gray. The GUI elements seems to be present and
working, the one's I've tried at least...

When underwater, it doesn't render land meshes and/or textures until my
av is very close or directly on top of them. (The key factor seems to be
a low altitude, the presence of water seems to be secondary.) Avatar
renders fine only underwater.

It appears to be partially multithreaded, it normally operates in a
single threaded mode but does seem to be able to launch worker threads
which act for several seconds at a time...

Camera move controls do not work, cause flickering, no useful action...
