1) It disables camera constraints *without* disabling the constraint of
letting the camera pass underground.
Ideally I think this should be the default camera behavior. To get more
than "one draw distance" away you have to have selected an "alt-vertex"
and swung around anyway, so it's not easy to accidentally get
disoriented as a newbie or anything, since they don't know how to "walk"
the camera away using alt-vertices.
As others have mentioned, when the camera is constrained, it does weird
and disorienting things near the constraint limits anyway.
2) It allows flying in "no-fly" land. This flag is more annoying than
useful and I like being able to opt-out and fly where I damn well want
to. As long as the flag is enforced client-side it can't be used for
restricting people from cheating in games anyway. Also the "attempting
to fly in a no-fly zone" noise is very grating and LOUD!
3) It allows you to easily grab texture UUIDs on objects you don't own.
This is useful for many non-copyright-infringing things. One example
is I had a custom build made for my store. I wanted to make some
interior work that had matching textures, but the builder was offline,
so I just grabbed the textures by UUID.
I'd say these three things are generally why I always keep admin options
on. There's a few other smaller things, but these are the main ones.
