[sldev] ESC exempt from open source and GPL licensing?

Let's see..

Can you take the source and make your own viewer?  Check.
Is the source licensed GPL?  Check
Not required to give changes to Linden Lab?  Check

So what part isn't Open Source?

The only manure I smell is from all the sour grapes being tossed around
because either you're offended you didn't get the first commercial license.
Or you feel you're above the standard contributers agreement that allows
Linden Lab to sell a closed source license that contains code you submit.
An agreement that is used by many popular Open Source projects.

Your choices have been laid out to you quite well.  At this point you're
beating a dead horse here.
