Whatever you may personally feel about landbots - their use is not illegal in SL nor against the TOS.
 
Unless that policy is changed there is little point debated ways of preventing their use.
 
By all means campaign to ban landbots, but this isn't really the list to do that.
 
My personal opinion is that we need to allow human users a little breathing space *after* they have set the land for sale to check things, have second thoughts etc. allow the person standing next to them who they intended to sell the land to, to purchase etc. (but not add yet more dialog boxes checking that they want to proceed), so my solution would be that for the initial five (10?) minutes after the land has been set for sale, it can only be purchased by those present in the sim at the time the land was set for sale, but not buyable by any new people/bots teleporting in. After five minutes anyone can buy.
