That's always been the problem with bots, they change the market and  
make it less effective. In the name of efficiency, they keep the most  
efficient tool for managing resources from working effectively by  
making the market reflect the behavior of software rather than  
people. This is a problem, whether it's in SL land sales or the stock  
market.

Last year around this time we were watching it happen completely out  
of control, as bots bought land and resold it to other bots in a  
feedback loop that LL finally broke by flooding the market with land.  
That doesn't solve the problem, it reduces margins and makes it  
harder for the resellers... whether they're using bots or not.... but  
the tail of the market remains suppressed and prices remain higher  
than they would in an equilibrium without the bots.
