Seems to me the "standards body SL" is going to need to nail this stuff
down eventually, and as its a relatively straightforward thing to do it
might as well be started now. Someone needs to come up with a formal XML
DTD for serialization of Second Life objects. I don't know crap about
writing DTDs so don't look at me. :)

I would suggest looking at SVG as a guide. Its designed to be reasonably
compact, despite being XML.
