In the long run (probably doesn't apply to the cleanup project), it 
would be good for everyone to keep in mind the consensus of the open 
source community appears to be that the GUI should be at least as 
scriptable as WOW.

In the very long run, the GUI and viewer library could be closely or 
loosely coupled depending on what capabilities are desired, and a client 
might consist of zero or more camera views of the SL interacting with a 
GUI that is merely a set of elements controlled by a script that 
interacts with the viewer library.
