On the other hand, even fairly low power RT-specific hardware can  
outperform much faster CPUs at raytracing. Raytracing is a problem  
that is both extremely well adapted to hardware acceleration (much  
more so than rasterization) and "embarrassingly parallelizable" -  
meaning that it scales up supremely well.
