Heh - first half of that article is a tad sensationalist - opensim wont 
be competing with LL for a _long_ while (the two months came from a 
unrelated question about using OpenSim for teaching) - grid design isnt 
really on any of the opensim dev's radar - it's an insanely complex 
topic that leads only to madness.
