In my case I make stuff for fun... and then I sell it. And those
sales are enough to pay for my tier, which gives me an incentive to
take the stuff I'm hacking on and polish it up and release it, so
long as it doesn't turn into a 'job'.

This probably needs to be applied by default to all existing content
that isn't full perm, just to avoid the absolute uproar that would
result.

The permission system as designed is reasonable. There's been some
changes to it that have messed things up, like the change to the
behavior of inventory in no-mod objects, that should probably be
reconsidered.
